In one of the darkest alleys of New Gotham, a young blonde woman (Heather Dawn) walks home when she is attacked from behind by a man with on eye (Donovan Lietch). He says she's been watching her and she lifts her hands up, shooting lightning at him. He says that it was her lightning that attracted him to her and he zaps her with a stun gun. After shooting out a bolt of lightning at a nearby power line, she staggers forward into the arms of Huntress (Ashlea Scott). The guy tries to back off, but Dinah (Rachel Skarsten) shows up behind him and starts beating the living crap out of him. Eventually Huntress joins in, much to Dinah's annoyance. During the fight, the damaged power lines fall towards the injured woman but Dinah catches it with her powers while Huntress drags her to safety. The one eyed attacker goes on the run and Huntress looses him...but she does find an interesting metal disk with an odd logo on it in his place.

Back at the Clock Tower, Huntress and Dinah fill in Oracle (Dina Meyer) on the nights activities, and they believe the disk is a key card for something. Apparently, meta-humans have been going missing all over Gotham. Reese (Shemar Moore) sends a signal to Huntress - one of the meta's has been found dead. While she joins him at the scene, Dinah goes to No Man's Land to meet Gibson (Robert Patrick Benedict). Meanwhile on the streets, the one eyed guy attacks another woman, stunning her and dragging her off someplace.

Later, Dinah pummels the training gear in the Clock Tower when Huntress enters asking if Gibson put the word out about the disappearing meta's. She is annoyed that she is still being treated like a kid when she is ready to be a superhero. She also offers to take on Helena, but she shrugs it off saying she needs to learn her limitations. Oracle learns about another disappearance and confirms she was a meta. She also carries out an analysis on some samples Reese gave her from the dead woman and discovers granite...but there is very little granite in New Gotham because of the earthquake that toppled the original Gotham City. She thinks that’s where the woman was killed, and it would also explain how the one-eyed guy got away using the tunnels of Old Gotham. Huntress goes to investigate, but refuses to take Dinah with her. Barbara gives her the key card and Alfred (Ian Abercrombie) offers some wellyboots but she turns them down - a superhero can't look good in wellyboots.

In the alley where she lost the suspect, Helena finds an entrance to Old Gotham. Barbara guides her in. When Dinah learns Huntress left without her she is pissed, but Alfred is confused by her anger - why would she want to crawl through sewage to get to the remnants of Gotham. Huntress comes out of the sewers in some kind of prison...and its been turned into a fighting arena. She looses contact with Oracle and the one eyed guys sneaks up behind her, shooting her with a stun dart.

Inside the Gladiatrix, its meta-human against meta-human and Helena is meant for the next match. She talks with another meta (Abby Brammell) who fills her in on their circumstances. She then stops talking with Helena because she's the enemy and tries to zap her with lasers from her eyes. The one eyed guy shows up and activates a control vest, inflicting pain on both Huntress and the other meta. No powers must be used outside the ring. He taunts Huntress and says he lured her to the ring, then injects her with a drug to bring out her rage.

Back at the Clock Tower, Oracle learns another disk was discovered at a crime scene...and the arresting officer was Detective Reese. She gives him a call, and she sends a picture of the disk to him. He recognises it and explains all he has on it are rumours of an underground fighting ring where woman fight to the death. Oracle tells him Huntress has gone missing while looking for the missing woman. Reese offers his help and Oracle agrees.

Meanwhile in her cell, Helena gets fed a plate of gruel, but the meta she spoke with didn't get any. Helena gives her what she got, but she won't eat it fearing Huntress poisoned it. One eye shows up, and tells Helena he loves the game because woman have always rejected him because of his appearance. He also says soon Helena will fight and he will love to see what she can do in the ring.

Oracle sends Dinah after Huntress, giving her an upgraded comm-set to keep communications open even in Old Gotham. In the arena, Laser Claire and the current Champion are being prepped for a fight, but Huntress asks to go instead. One eye agrees because she is now his favourite. Huntress, now known as The Green Scorpion, goes head to head with Kayla the Destroyer. Kayla throws fire at Helena, who is able to dodge most of the blasts. She lunges at Kayla and quickly beats her senseless. But even in the end, she refuses to kill her. Back in her cell, One Eye says in the ring you either kill or you die. He also notices Helena is resisting the drug, but when she gives in her kills will be much more savage than any other.

In the Clock Tower, Oracle finds traces of the drug in the dead girls hair. When she finds out what it does, Alfred points out that someone like Helena won't need the drug to loose her temper and the more she is on it the more dangerous she is. Reese triggers the bat ring, and when Oracle calls him he says he was able to strong arm the guy he took the disk from. He discovered that the fight club is called Gladiatrix and the guy who owns it is paying off high ranking cops to look the other way...so he wants to go in himself! She directs him where to go, and tells him to roll down his window. When he does, Alfred hands him a comms set "compliments of Oracle". When he looks away, Alfred vanishes into the night.

At Gladiatrix, Dinah sneaks in and finds Huntress in her cell. One Eye and his goons grab her, and fit her with a vest...she's going to be Huntress' next challenger!! In the ring, she talks with Oracle before fighting with Helena. She is able to spot Reese in the crowd and Oracle orders him not to get involved. Both Huntress and Dinah fight while she works on finding an antidote for the drug. She works out that another dose will overload the part of the brain the drug affects and will stop its effects.

Through the back. Reese fights with one of the Gladiatrix goons and after a few lucky punches he gets him to say where the drugs are kept. He gets enough of the drug to free the girls and tranqs the other guards.

Back at the ring, the fight is just heating up when Reese jabs Huntress with the antidote. One Eye sends his men after him, but the meta human women he frees protect him, forcing the guards to run off and abandon the Gladiatrix. The woman then go after One Eye themselves. Meanwhile, Dinah continues to fight with Helena until Reese is able to drug her as well. Once free of its influence, they all corner One Eye. Reese decides to take a walk and let the meta's handle him.

Later, Dinah and Huntress solve their differences...sort of. The next night, Dinah goes after a criminal solo for the first time without Huntress interfering...she finally became a hero.
