US ABC Ratings: Alias had another boost, as "Q and A" managed to achieve a viewer rating of 6.8 - almost 1 point and a half above the last episode.

Episode Notes:
  • This is the sixth episode writen by series creator J.J Abrams and the fifth episode directed by Ken Olin. It is the third time Olin has directed an episode written by Abrams.
  • There was no "Seven Years Ago..." prologue on this episode as the main portion of the questioning gives the same information.
  • It is revealed in this episode that "SD" in SD-6 stands for Section Disparu - the section that doesnt exist.
  • Terry O'Quinn who guest stars has previously played an FBI Agent on Millenium and in The X-Files movie Fight The Future.
  • In addition to the flashbacks showing how Syd came to work for SD-6 and the events leading up to her incarsaration, there are a couple of scenes in the 16th century showing Milo Rambaldi in his workshop.
