Episode Notes:
  • "The Two" marks the eleventh episode to be written by J.J Abrams.
  • Ken Olin has now directed a grand total of 20 episodes of Alias.
  • Although credited, Melissa George and David Anders to not appear in this episode.
  • As of now, Merrin Dungey, Bradley Cooper and Lena Olin are no longer in the opening credits.
  • Greg Grunberg, who has guest starred in several episodes as Agent Eric Weiss, is now credited as a series regular.
  • The establishing shot for Paris with the Eiffel Tower shows the tower with a giant, light-up number screen - this was part of the tower as a countdown to the millenium. The countdown shows that they still have 821 days to go, but really the series is set after 2001.
  • Lindsey had Syd listed as an enemy of the state, however she was able to walk into the CIA office without being stopped by security.
  • After the Paris mission goes south, Sydney speaks with Weiss and tells him not to mention their conversation, but the CIA would already know all about it because of the satellite footage.
