Hollier and R.P. Gaborno.
- "Facade" is
the nineth episode directed by Jack
Bender.
- Although
this is R.P. Gaborno's only written episode of the show, he
is responsible for the story "Countdown".
- The identity
of the man killed by 'Julia Thorne' in "Full
Disclosure" is finally revealed in this episode.
- At the
end of the episode, the parking garage actually served as the
entrance to SD-6 and the Rotunda access point.
- This episode
was filmed the day after Rickey Gervais won a golden globe
award.
- In the
bar scene at the beginning, both Rickey Gervais and Greg Grunberg
added their own lines.
- Series
creator J.J Abrams tried to get Rickey Gervais to appear on
the show but struggled to get in touch with
him.
Eventually,
he forwarded a copy of the Alias DVD's to his agent.
Gervais was blown away with the series and eventually contact
Abrams himself.
- Bravo,
the UK sky channel which premiered this episode, sent a team
to L.A. to film a special documentary about Rickey Gervais'
