  • "Legacy" is Lawrence Trilling's seventh directed episode on the series.
  • Vivica A. Fox previously appeared on Alias in "After Six" and Isabella Rossellini also starred in "Crossings".
  • The character of Suit and Glasses has appeared in several episodes, torturing Sydney, Will Tippin and Marshall Flinkman. In this episode, his name is revealed as Dr. Jong Lee and he is the one to be tortured.
  • This episode is very similar to the later half of the second season, with the CIA hunting down Arvin Sloane.
  • The storage locker that Vaughn accesses at the end was first introduced in "Breaking Point".
  • During the episode, the external action shots of Sloane's villa were filmed in the same location as Sloane's massage in season two where Syd poses as Geisha.
