Episode Notes:
  • This episode marks the sixth time Alison Schapker and Monica Breen have collaborated on an episode and both writers seventh episode.
  • Ken Olin has now directed 23 episodes of Alias.
  • The lighting of the corridor leading into APO has changed colour from orange to blue.
  • Sydney's pregnancy was incorporated into the series in order to mirror Jennifer Garner's real life pregnancy, however series creator J.J. Abrams had originally planned not to do so.
  • Before this episode aired, rumours were circulated that Michael Vartan was being written out of the series as a result of his personal relationship with Jennifer Garner. An ABC spokesmen denied these rumours.
  • Although credited, Alias newcomer Balthazar Getty's character did not appear in this episode.
  • This episode did not feature the usual opening credit sequence and instead the cast and crew credits appeared on screen as the action unfolded.
