Although the majority
of Alias has either been filmed in the Walt Disney Studios or in
their backlot, there are on occassion where the series uses real
life locations either as en establishing shot or as part of the
action. The following list contains a few different locations you
may be
interested in visiting if you are ever in the Los Angeles area.

You might think the enterance to Authorised Personnel Only is downtown
below a park, however in reality the division is located at North Hollywood
Station, the last stop on the Los Angeles red metro line.

Sydney's
House, Season 1
Sydney lives in the middle of Hollywood, just minutes away from the infamous
Mann's Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard. Please note, this is a private
residence and not owned by Touchstone, ABC or any other production group.

Restaurant
The location
inside Francie's restaurant is part of the Alias set, but the establishing
shot for the restaurant is actually Il Caprico on N. Vermont Avenue.

Berlin,
2.14 - Double Agent
It's not Berlin, it's pure Hollywood. The filming location for Berlin in
season 2's "Double Agent" episode is actually part of the Paramount
backlot, not too far from where "Cloverfield" was filmed. if

Sphere
Of Life Valley, 4.20 - The Descent
In may have been Sienna on the show, but really the Sphere Of Life is located
somewhere on Mount. Lee, home of the Hollywood sign. Deleted
scenes for the episode show Sloane and Nadia sitting in the mountains
with the famouse sign in the background.

The
Infamous Lobby
You may have noticed the same lobby appearing
in several episodes, thats because the official policy in Hollywood is "anything
for the movie." That lobby is actually the foyer of the ABC building
in North Hollywood, not far from Warner Bros studios.

University
The university on Alias is actually UCLA. The campus has been used in numbers
shows, including the fourth season of Buffy The Vampire Slayer.

Monica Pier
Depressed and overwhelmed with her life as a double agent, Sydney threw her phone
into the Pacific Ocean right outside Santa Monica pier. The location has been
used in numerous shows and movies, including the vampire series Angel.

Of Friendship
It was a gift to the United States from South Korea, and in 3.21 - "Legacy,"
Sloane had a top secret meet with Lauren Reed and Mr. Sark. The bell is located
at West 37th St in Angels Gate Park, San Pedro, CA 90731.
