5.01 - "Unearthed"
On a desperate quest to find out what happened to the Taelons and to Liam when the Volcano erupted, Renee hires a submarine and an ex-Volunteer crew to lead an expedition. However, when she enters the Regeneration Chamber, she accidentally unleashes the Final Conflict.

5.02 - "Pariahs"
On board the Mothership, Sandoval tries to make a deal with Howlyn and the other Atavus. But when they turn down his offer, he soon finds himself the Atavus' next meal and is forced to ask Renee and J. Street for help.

5.03 - "The Seduction"
Renee invades the Mothership in hopes of stopping a joining procedure which will be used to create a hundreds of Atavus hybrids which will infiltrate the highest levels of the Government. But when she is captured by Sandoval, Howlyn, the Atavus leader, chooses Renee to become his mate.

5.04 - "Subterra"
In an attempt to expose the Atavus and their plot to take over the Earth, Renee and Street team up with a down and out former reporter. During their hunt below the ground for an Atavus hive however, Renee learns that the FBI is officially ready to exonerate Sandoval, allowing him to pursue the alien agenda on Earth.

5.05 - "Boone's Awakening"
Hoping to lure Renee into a trap, Sandoval revives William Boone from stasis knowing that Renee will do whatever it takes to save a member of the Liberation Movement. But when Boone and Renee escape, Howlyn decides its time to take matters into his own hands.

5.06 - "Termination"
Desperate to find a way to kill the Atavus, Renee breaks a homicidal doctor out of prison in hopes that she will be able to discover the reason for Atavus regeneration. But when Sandoval learns what Renee is planning, he makes arrangements to lure the doctor over to his side.

5.07 - "Guilty Conc ious"
When Renee and Street learn of a plan to mass-produce Atavus chambers for producing hybrids, its a race against time to stop Howlyn and Sandoval before they can put the project into action.

5.08 - "Entombed"
After capturing a live Atavus from an ancient hive underneath Stonehenge, Renee and Street transport it to an abandoned Doors research facility in the Arctic to study it. However, when Street finds herself drawn to the Atavus, her true loyalties are put to the ultimate test.

5.09 - "Boone's Assassin"
Furious at his constant failures, Sandoval comes up with a daring plan to capture both Boone and Renee...by reviving Zo'or from the regeneration chamber on board the Mothership. Zo'or is fused with the body of a deceased Atavus, and begins hunting down Boone, who has plans of his own for Zo'or.

5.10 - "Legacy"
Renee pursues a female Atavus through an ancient portal through time, taking her back to the point where the Atavus were first forced into stasis by the meteor showers. When Howlyn discovers the portals existence, he plans to use it to his advantage by enslaving humanity in the past.

5.11 - "Death Suit"
When she fails to save a young mother from the Atavus, Renee has a mental breakdown, and checks into an isolated health spa with J. Street in order to regain her focus on the battle with the Atavus. But when she begins seeing hybrids and Atavus in the spa, they soon discover that there's more going on than they thought.

5.12 - "Atavus High"
When a high school boy named Jeremiah hacks into Renee's anti-Atavus website, he replaces it with an Atavus fan club, forming a cult, believing that one day he will become an Atavus hybrid. Renee and Street try to convince Jeremiah that the Atavus are evil and have nothing to offer him, but Howlyn and Sandoval have their own plans.

5.13 - "Deep Sleep"
The existence of the Atavus is finally brought to light when Renee encounters a hospital filled with hybrids who have been feeding on coma patients. as Renee tries to stop what is going on, Hubble Urick awakens from his coma and pledges the entire force of the FBI to her crusade.

5.14 - "The Art Of War"
After Juda is killed by Renee and her new S.W.A.T team, Howlyn begins probing Sandoval's mind for information which could allow him to conquer humanity. Meanwhile, Ra'Jel desperately tries to convince Howlyn that Humanity cannot be conquered and that he should leave Earth.

5.15 - "Grave Danger"
Renee and Street embark on a quest to uncover the truth behind the Egyptian Pyramids when the discover that the ancient tomb of Askinaton may hold the location to the Atavus' space ship. But when Sandoval and a group of hybrids arrive on the scene, the matter becomes more complicated.

5.16 - "Deportation"
After receiving a call for help from an old friend, Renee embarks on a mission to infiltrate a detention facility for Atavus hybrids, placing herself in mortal danger. But during her time in the facility, she witnesses first hand the barbaric treatment of hybrid prisoners.

5.17 - "Honor and Duty"
Renee and Captain Michael must undertake a daring mission to deactivate the Mothership's weapons pod, after Zo'or is revived and successfully powers up the weapons systems, giving Howlyn all the fire power he needs to take over the planet.

5.18 - "Bad Genes"
On Easter Island, Renee encounters a young Atavus named Yulyn, who also happens to be Howlyn's son. But unlike the other Atavus, Yulyn has no desire to feed on humans, and may hold the key to humanity's survival. But when Howlyn discovers Renee has his son, he commands all of his followers to retrieve him.

5.19 - "Subversion"
Renee is kidnapped and put on trial for placing the human race in jeopardy by unleashing the Final Conflict. Its up to Street, Michaels and Hubble Urick to save the day before its too late.

5.20 - "Street Wise"
When J. Street is transformed into an Atavus hybrid, Renee must discover an antidote before she looses Street completely. Meanwhile Sandoval goes out of his way to stop Renee, causing her to accept the fact that she may have to kill Sandoval in cold blood.
First Aired: 29th April 2002

5.21 - "The Journey"
Ra'Jel contacts Renee in an attempt to enlighten her on why the Taelons chose to visit Earth. Meanwhile, Captain Michaels is wounded on a mission, leaving Renee to make a choice which will decide whether or not he survives.
First Aired: 13th May 2002

5.22 - "Final Conflict"
Liam returns from beyond to guide Renee on the Final Conflict by taking her to Howlyn's ship filled with Atavus warriors. However, when Howlyn discovers the ships location, Liam and Renee must put their lives on the line to end the Atavus threat once and for all.
