Gene Roddenberry's EARTH: Final Conflict is set in the near future, after the arrival of an alien species to our planet - The Taelons. The Taelons claim peaceful intentions, and call themselves "Companions". World leaders welcome them. Indeed, they help solve some of Earth's most pressing problems like war, famine, and disease. Two Taelon leaders are central to our story - Da'an (Leni Parker), the Companion leader assigned to the United States, and the ruthless Zo'or (Anita La Selva), head of The Taelon Synod.

Though "Companion" popularity soars, The Taelons inspire the distrust of billionaire Jonathon Doors (David Hemblen), who founds The Resistance, an underground movement to expose the Taelon agenda.

Heroic men and women like Director of Interspecies Relations William Boone (Kevin Kilner), shuttle pilot Captain Lili Marquette (Lisa Howard) Human/Kimeran hybrid Major Liam Kincaid (Robert Leeshock), Doors International Executive Renee Palmer (Jayne Heitmeyer), and computer genius Augur (Richard Chevolleau) work covertly, getting as close as possible to The Taelons while secretly working for the Resistance. Some like William Boone and Liam Kincaid, give their lives. Over time, the Resistance uncovers shocking information about The Taelons and their plans for Earth. While professing peaceful intentions, The Taelons have secretly begun to harness Earth's human resources. Thousands have disappeared or been killed. The Taelons also lied about their arrival. They were on Earth long before their presence was publicly known. Most notably, they interfered in a global conflict, preventing a nuclear holocaust, but maintaining a state of war. The Taelon goal was to keep the world in turmoil so they could arrive and set everything right.

Over time, The Taelons themselves come under attack. First, one of their leaders is killed by an unmanned probe launched by The Jaridians, a race of war-like aliens yet to visit Earth. The Jaridian threat escalates a struggle for supremacy between Taelon leaders - the empathic Da'an and the brutal Zo'or.

Meanwhile, courageous Captain Lili Marquette, primer mover in the Resistance, becomes a pawn in a plot by FBI Agent Ronald Sandoval (Von Flores), Zo'or's personal liaison and bodyguard. Lili is ejected into interdimensional space where her ship is overtaken by a Jaridian. Through an elaborate mental ruse, Lili is tricked into giving the Jaridians the means to travel to Earth. She also becomes pregnant with a Jaridian child.

Later, Lili and a Jaridian named Vorjak (Dan Chamercy) crash land on Earth, and Lili gives birth - the last hope for survival of the Jaridians.

Over time, The Taelons' core energy supploes dwindle down to almost nothing, forcing them to enter into "stasis" - really a prolonged death. This impending death stasis sparks a new battle of will between Da'an and Zo'or. Finally after a flurry fo shifting alliances, the Taelons and the arriving Jaridians discover that the only way for either race to survive is for both to unite, literally, in a regeneration chamber in the belly of a massive volcanoe. Liam assists in this process. As the energy transfer begins, the volcanoe errupts, presumably sending Liam and everyone else to their deaths.

With both the Taelons and the Jaridians presumably destroyed, it is now up to the daring Renee Palmer and her co-hort J. Street (Melinda Deines) to face a new threat, as yet unseen and unknown.
