Additional Notes: Joyce was born human, and went on to become a brilliant scientist, inspired by her mother. However, when she came into contact with a cocktail of alien genetic material, she injected it into herself becoming a form of hybrid. A being she saw as superior to Humanity. Initially, she wanted to procreate with Liam Kincaid, another hybrid, and produce a superior race. But thanks to Liam's insights, Joyce instead decided to leave Earth for good, and begin exploring new fronteirs and new planes of existence which no human could dream of.

Additional Notes: As far as Jaridians go, Bolvak is one of the most enlightened. Very little is known about him, except that he was willing to sacrifice himself in the hopes of re-joining the Taelons and Jaridians in order for the two species to become an Atavus once again. He met with Da'an on the space station Freedom. They were successful in joining and becoming a single entity once again. However, Bolvak was too close to death and so when the Atavus used his shaquarava, the alien energy killed Bovak. He died a hero, trying to bring peace to the two warring races.

Additional Notes: When Sydney was killed, Jack spent almost a year looking for her killer, hoping to bring them to justice. but when his investigation failed, he turned to wanted terrorist Irina Derevko. But when the NSC discovered this, he was imprisoned for over a year in maximum security isolation. But when Sydney re-emerged, Jack was freed from prison, and together they began trying to unravel the mystery of Sydney's missing time.
   
  Name: Howlyn

Additional Notes: Howlyn originally left his homeworld after a disagreement with his father, and so decided to set up his own Empire. Earth was chosen as the world from which his Empire would be born. However, after a meteor shower, he was forced into stasis. He was awakened millions of years later when the stasis chamber was disturbed by the Taelons and Jaridians. Howlyn immediately attempted to retake his world from Humanity, but ultimately, it was his thirst for power which killed him after his second in command, Jaylis, turned on his leader, challenging him to combat.

Additional Notes: Juda was one of Howlyn's mates, and so followed him on his quest for an Empire. Her first loyalty was to him, but when she was sure his thoughts were clouded, she did not hesitate to take action on his behalf. It was Juda who offered to help Sandoval in his plan to serve Howlyn and the Atavus, and the two became very close. However, in an attack against the Human race, Juda was injured by an experimental weapon, and Sandoval attempted to heal her using Taelon Core Energy...a substance toxic to the Atavus. The energy overwhelmed Juda, killing her instantly.
     
  Name: Vorjak
Association: The Jaridian Empire
Species: Jaridian
Title: Supreme Commander
Family: Lili Marquette (wife) and Ariel (daughter)
Status: Deceased
Additional Notes: Vorjak was the leader of the Jaridian Empire, and came to Earth with Lili Marquette on her stolen shuttle. During the journey, Vorjak and Lili fell in love and eventually chose to have a child together. This child would be the saviour of the Jaridian race. Upon arriving on Earth, they discovered that it was impossible for the child to survive on the planet, and so they left, setting a course home to Jaridia. Vorjak was finally able to transcend his hatred of the Taelons, and entered a joining with them to form a new species, effectively ending his life.
   
  Name: Yulyn

Species: Atavus

Family: Howlyn (father)
Status: Exploring the galaxy
Additional Notes: Yulyn is unlike the other Atavus. His mother opposed the Atavus' choice of Earth as their home and refused to feed off of the native population - humans. Yulyn agreed with his mothers assessment, and also refused to feed. Upon awakening from stasis, Yulyn formed an alliance with Renee Palmer, hoping to find a peaceful solution to the conflict between the two races. After a battle with another Atavus, Howlyn was killed, leaving Yulyn to lead the remaining Atavus. Yulyn's concerns were always what is best for his people, and is a natural born leader.
